Burberry inspired wedding outfit

I loved the Burberry SS14 show, which was a surprise because they are not normally a stand-out show for me. But the combination of black, white grey and brights really appealed, as an extension to the monochrome look we've been seeing this season, pairing neutrals with bright, spring-like pinks and greens.

{my all time favourite look from the SS14 shows}

{stripes, spots and fretwork style patterns were in full force}

I'm jumping aboard the look this summer for a wedding, and am already armed with the black, white and pink clutch from this post, and am pairing it with a lace top, similar to the Whistles one below to wedding-it-up a little. For a more casual look, a simple t-shirt or nice bit of crew-neck knitwear will do, with a pencil skirt with a little bit of pattern or texture being the crux of the outfit.

Here's my pick off the high street (yes I know, selections from both Mint Velvet and Boden - I am obviously feeling the affect of my recent birthday).
