White & black

Monochrome continues to be a look which is in favour this spring/summer, which is a welcome story seeing as it was also around last year, giving us lots of room for reinvention without the cash injection. This time it's being paired with another stand out colour, often red or royal blue, to provide some contrast.

Texture and print will also update this look, so search for embossed fabrics, leather, suede, animal prints or graphic prints to mix in with your traditional monochrome separates. I'm a big fan of the black, white and blue look, as featured on the left-hand side of the collage below, as I've showcased before on here.
